Password Manager System

In order to protect the University’s sensitive data and information, it is important that we have strong password requirements in place. Passwords are the front line of protection for user accounts and information. Therefore, a password standard is now in effect for all faculty and staff. This password standard will require use of a strong password and will enforce established password expiration rules per internal audit requirements.

PW Manager provides the capability to automatically set a single strong password for various University systems using your NinerNET account credentials (Novell, Outlook, 49er Express, and INB using a web-based interface) that is accessible from the University network and the Internet. Users are required to setup a series of security questions and answers that can be used with the self service password reset feature in case they forget their password.
